#1 – Start with the premium service you offer in mind.

Your intentions are to generate paying clients from your generous free content. It’s not selfish – it’s just the reality of a thriving business: you need clients. So map out the individual steps that your ideal client needs to go through in order to get to their desired result.

The best and most effective freebies to create new clients are the ones that are relevant to your signature offer.

#2 – Tell your ideal clients the process to solving their problem.

Your future clients need to know what it looks like to have their problem solved – especially working with you. Paint a picture in their minds of the steps you’ll take them through to get to the desired result.

You can do this in the form of case studies showing off how you’ve helped other amazing clients already solve their problems. Your ideal clients will be able to use their stories to get an idea of how your services will work for them, too.

If you don’t have case studies of past clients – use stories about people that have experienced the transformation your future clients desire and show them the shifts they will need to go through, too. You’re the expert – show your authority.

#3 – Your freebie must be relevant to where your ideal client is in the buying cycle.

If your ideal client is not in the top 5% and actively looking for a solution to their problem, you need to make sure that you take a step back and figure out what questions your client might be asking that would lead them to understanding that a problem even exists.

I bet you wouldn’t believe me if I told you that 95% of my clients weren’t looking for a coach when we met but within 30 days, they saw that I was the best solution to helping them achieve their goals.
